probably thinking about learning strategies for your course --- and
with that comes the actual design of the elements you include in your
course. This gallery will give a you broad overview of various types
of instructional media elements you might include in your design.
Your instructional
message should be what drives the type of media you produce for your
course. One key question you need to ask yourself when thinking about
media is "Does the media actually add value to my
instructional strategy?"
Identifying your
target audience and understanding their technical capabiities is important
in creating an environment in which participants can learn from their
activities and not be frustrated because the technology doesn't work.
